Daily Pre-Operation Checklist:

1.Walk-Around Inspection:Visually examine key components including crawler tracks, hydraulic cylinders, and  Rock Drill rods for looseness, cracks, or deformation.

2.Fluid Level Check:Confirm that hydraulic oil and engine oil levels are within the standard specified range on the dipstick.

3.Filter Inspection:Check the air filter element; clean or replace it as necessary.

Pay special attention to the diesel engine filter - a core component. Replace it immediately if clogged, as this critically affects engine lifespan.

4.Fastener Check:Focus on inspecting the tightness of connections at the impactor and drill bit.

During Operation Monitoring:

5.Auditory & Visual Monitoring:Listen for changes in the impactor's sound frequency. Stop immediately if abnormal vibrations occur.Observe the hydraulic system pressure gauge. Needle fluctuations should not exceed ±10% of the rated value.Record the drill rod penetration rate. A sudden drop may indicate bit wear or a change in rock formation.Crucial Lubrication Procedures:

6.Lubrication & Oiling:Impactor Lubrication: Before starting work, inject a suitable amount of oil into the impactor to lubricate and prevent dry grinding of internal components like the piston. Proper maintenance is crucial for maximizing impactor service life.

Inline Lubricator (Oiler) Maintenance: The high-pressure inline lubricator must be filled to 90% capacity with a high-viscosity oil. After being compressed, air from the high-pressure compressor passes through this device. This oil-mist mixture then travels through the rotation power head and drill rod to the impactor, ensuring continuous lubrication during extended operation and preventing seizure.

Post-Operation Procedures:

1. Cleaning & Maintenance:Use compressed air to clean rock dust from the power head threads and impactor exterior.Open the dust collector and use an air gun to thoroughly blow the dust off the filter cartridge.

2. Lubrication & Greasing: The drill rig's boom, arm, and rotation power head are all equipped with grease fittings (zerks). Grease should be applied daily after shutdown to ensure lubrication and extend service life.

3. Fault Logging:Note any abnormal observations or readings from the Crawler Rock Drill's instruments in the log. This provides crucial data for maintenance planning.

4. Periodic Maintenance: Replace the hydraulic return oil filter every 250 operating hours. Clean the hydraulic system filter element every **500 operating hours.Check the impactor piston clearance every 1000 operating hours.

Implementing a three-tier maintenance system ("Operator - Lead Operator - Maintenance Team"), supported by a smart equipment management system that automatically sends maintenance alerts, ensures the equipment consistently operates in optimal condition. While standardized maintenance increases daily tasks, it can reduce unplanned downtime by up to 60%, ultimately maximizing overall operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
