Q: What is the working principle of the drilling rig?

A: The open pit drilling truck is powered by diesel engine, which drives the hydraulic oil pump to form a high-pressure oil circuit, and drives the hydraulic motor and hydraulic cylinder to complete various scheduled actions by manipulating the hydraulic operating valves on the operating platform. When working, start the power, push the handle on the rotary manipulation valve, the pressure is driven through the rotary manipulation valve to rotate the rotary motor on the rotary machine. Push the handle on the travelling control valve to achieve the whole machine forward, backward, turning and other actions. Push the handle on the cylinder operating valve to control each related cylinder to complete the tilting, swinging, compensating and drilling arm tilting action of the guide rail. Push the handle on the propulsion control valve to realise the expansion and contraction of the propulsion cylinder to drive the chain to feed and lift. When the propulsion cylinder is contracted and the rotator is turned positively, the ball valve on the inlet pipe is opened at the same time to supply the pressure air from the air compressor to the drilling rod and impactor, and the impactor works and blows the broken rock out of the ground, thus realising the continuous feeding of the broken rock by the impactor and the formation of the rock drilling and penetration.

Q: What is the operation procedure of the drill truck?

A: ① Start the diesel engine and make the hydraulic system run without load for 10~20 minutes.
② Push the travelling control valve to move the drill truck to the drilling position; push the handles on the change valve to adjust the guide rail to the drilling position.
Note: Be sure to position the front end to support on the working rock surface when working.
③ Open the ball valve switch on the inlet pipe to feed air to the impactor, and at the same time push the vertical change valve, so that the rotary machine drives the drill pipe and the impactor to rotate positively, and then slowly push the vertical change valve, so that the brazing head is gradually close to the ground, and the impactor will start to work after touching the ground.
Due to the existence of pumice or cracks, the handle of the propulsion valve should be manipulated repeatedly at the beginning, so that the rotary machine drives the drill pipe and the impactor to continuously propel and elevate, so that the debris in the hole can be discharged in a timely manner in order to prevent jamming of the drill.
